Meet Our Founder,
Theresa Semple
Theresa began her career in 1995 as a Customer Service Associate with Oxford Health Plans. She fell in love with the industry there and even today believes this was the best place in which she could have found herself to learn the industry. Within just one year Theresa moved into the Small Group arena working with the Enrollment/Auditing Department. After six months there she requested a transfer to underwriting and from there went into small group underwriting and compliance.
Theresa quickly realized that she had a lot more knowledge than the sales representatives who were coming to her. So, she launched her career in sales and never looked back. In January 2002 Theresa began her career as an independent employee benefits broker with a firm in Hightstown, NJ.
Now, as the founder and CEO of Semple Solutions, Theresa offers her clients and prospects the best possible fit for their employee benefit needs. Theresa knows that what she does, she does very well and her clients often become friends in the process of working together.
Theresa’s dedication to providing her clients with personal attention is what sets Semple Solutions apart from other brokerages. Theresa partners with her clients and ensures they never have to navigate the group insurance world alone. She acts as a resource to clients who often come to her with other business needs because they trust that she’ll have the answers and industry contacts (or know someone who does). This collaborative relationship allows all of Theresa’s clients to move forward with confidence and focus on their business.
Her commitment to helping others reaches beyond her work and into her community. Where she started the organization Families Helping Families in Sayreville. Theresa also served as Chairperson for Sayreville Day for five years, volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, and has a passion for working with charities that address the need to find a cure for pancreatic cancer and breast cancer.
This philosophy and passion for helping where there is a need is evident in every aspect of her life.
